Gavin Jennings is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder surgery, with clinical appointments at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) Bath and the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases. He currently serves as Clinical Chairman of Sulis Hospital and has played a significant leadership role in healthcare management and service development.

Previously, Gavin was instrumental in the establishment and management of Circle Hospital Bath, contributing to Circle Health Group’s entry into the UK healthcare market. He also served on the working group that facilitated the first-ever acquisition of a private hospital by an NHS trust through RUH Bath. In addition to his clinical and leadership responsibilities, Gavin has advised major orthopaedic companies including Smith & Nephew, CONMED, Exactech, Biomet, and Lima, providing strategic and clinical expertise to support innovation in orthopaedic care. He has a keen interest in Innovation and has been at the forefront of testing and evaluating new technologies.

He set up J and M technologies along with co-founder Peter McGrath to develop a remote monitoring and data capture offering with applications across the field of medicine.

Peter McGrath is a healthcare business development specialist with more than 20 years of international experience spanning product development, commercial strategy, sales, and marketing. Over the past decade, he has focused on harnessing the potential of big data and artificial intelligence to drive innovation and improve healthcare outcomes worldwide.

Having worked extensively across the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia, Peter has built a substantial global network of orthopaedic industry contacts. His deep understanding of the healthcare sector and strong industry relationships have enabled him to support product development initiatives through direct surgeon engagement and market feedback, while also creating valuable commercial opportunities with leading orthopaedic companies around the world.

Peter, along with Gavin Jennings, is a co-founder of J and M Technologies, the entity behind the development of rAInge.
